Food Photography Workshops
I’ll take the complications out of food photography so you can focus on what really matters, whether you are a food blogger, an aspiring food photographer, or just love photographing delicious creations.
As Canon UK and Ireland’s preferred trainer in food photography, I offer one on one food photography day workshops. This workshop is about teaching how a commercial client shoot works, utilizing studio flash, developing your own style, creating mood, flavour and tone. Our hands on approach allows you to experiment with food and props learning how a simple set up can change the way you photograph food.
I have a diverse background that includes shooting images and campaigns for both international clients here in New Zealand or UK. I am also an Executive Chef, so my skills cover everything from food styling to recipe development – all with the goal on capturing perfect shots!

The Details
Workshops are run in a fully equipped commercial food studio in Grafton if I’m not on a location shoot. We shoot with professional-level Elinchrom Pro HD lighting, Canon’s highest-resolution studio camera along with all manner of grip and studio accessories. We are able to create high-quality food photography. Using professional equipment and lighting makes for top-notch images that will impress even the most demanding palate!
